Oceanspace N8000 clustered NAS storage product (short for N8000) is designed to satisfy customer's demand of integrated data storage. In front end, N8000 supports multiple protocols such as FC, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS and provides flexible nodes expansion which better satisfies customers' different demands. ◇ 2-8 nodes supported. Active-Active mode is used among all clustered NAS nodes.
◇ Full redundant fiber channel is adopted between N8000 nodes and back-end storage arrays, ensures business continuity.
◇ Clustered gateway adopts synchronous cache mechanism to ensure data consistency.
◇ N8000 adopts full-locked management mechanism, which allows different parts of a specific document to be revised at the same time by multiple clustered nodes.
◇ Storage array supports pre-copy function, so system can forecast hard drive failures or problems and migrate data to hot spare disk before damage occurs.

◇ N8000 supports on-line expansion of storage quantity and capacity. Maximum 60 enclosures disk and 8000TB capacity are supported.
◇ FC, SAS, SATA and mixed are supported, meets different information management tiers of data storage.

◇ N8000 supports ILM of data storage: files is selected in terms of planed strategy, migrating data that is not long-term visited to low-cost near line storage, hot data are still kept in high-performance storage array.
◇ The data of near-line storage array is usable for host. Host can visit disk array at anytime. There is no need to move data from near-line storage to on-line storage.

◇ No need of installing agent of backup software on host server.
